The Institute of Agricultural Economics (IAE) was founded by the Directive of the FNR Yugoslavia Government in August 1949. In the course of its existence, as one of the oldest and the most successful scientific research institutions of agriculture in the country, it has continuously pursued the economic problems in agriculture, by analyzing them and giving proposals for successful development of this important field of the national economy. In the beginning, the Institute was engaged mainly in the tasks set by the former Agricultural Council, but later the cooperation with cooperatives and combines was established and then intense field and scientific research work started.
The Institute of Agricultural Economics, Belgrade, RS Serbia, frequently participates in the realization of long-terms projects of the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection, as well as in the projects of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning, and the projects of agricultural sector adjustment that the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic Serbia is implementing in the process of the country's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the European Union (EU).
Gestion y Planificación research group (GESPLAN), Spain
Gestion y Planificación research group (GESPLAN) was born under the umbrella of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) with the aim of being a crucial part of the so-called “Research Universities”, thus contributing to the progress of the society. GESPLAN was created in 2006 by full-professor PhD Aldolfo Cazorla Montero, however, full –professor PhD Ignacio De los Ríos Carmenado currently holds the position of director. The UPM was founded in 1971, its budget consist of 349, 8 million of euros, and it has more than 200 research groups. The University strives to be open to talented students, reputed lecturers and researchers from both Spain and abroad, and to the society. Thus, in the year 2017, The Technical University of Madrid offered 52 undergraduate degrees, 83 master programs and 44 PhD programs. These figures were translated in 31.387 undergraduate students, 4816 master students, 2.108 PhD students, and almost 3.000 teachers and researchers. Hence, putting the UPM as a real “Research University”. GESPLAN is a cluster of lecturers and researchers that have been working for more than 25 years on the fields of Project management, planning and project assessment. Its work have been implemented in many rural communities both from Spain and South America, helping them to develop.
GESPLAN works by projects and underpins the three basic elements of a Research University: postgraduate relevant teaching, relationship with the society, and pioneer research. By means of using these three elements, GESPLAN has placed itself as an outstanding research group. It offers one of the most prestigious international master and PhD programmes in the world (Project Planning for Rural Development and Sustainable Management). These programmes contain relevant research projects which solve significant societal issues. Thus, the results of the GESPLAN research group are published in high impact journals. The ethics of the GESPLAN research group are summarized in one conceptual framework, Working With People. This framework tries to intertwine knowledge and action, with projects that prioritize those people that play an active role in those areas in which the projects are being conducted. Since its creation, research has continuously been ongoing, as well as, the collaboration with other institutions from Spain, Europe and America. Thus, the aim of GESPLAN has always been to: promote the collaboration between European North American and Latin American research groups, share knowledge and expertise with other groups in the same field, and to promote the exchange of researchers facilitating their stay at the Technical University of Madrid.

The Institute of Economic Sciences (founded in 1958) is a non-profit academic think-tank institution, owned by Republic of Serbia with significant researches and analyses in various fields of economic sciences.
The Institute of Economic Sciences (IES), as a scientific and research institution, is engaged in research in macroeconomics, microeconomics, regional economic development, development studies of domestic and world markets, as well as in the activities of consulting, training and education related to modern business economics, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, banking and other. In the long and rich history of IES special attention is given to the promotion and advancement of scientific research through the exchange of information and ideas among scientific, business, NGOs and government experts at both national and regional and at European and world level.

Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjacka Banja, University of Kragujevac, Serbia
The Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjacka Banja, University of Kragujevac, was founded in 2011 as the youngest faculty at the University of Kragujevac, and is the only public faculty in Serbia educating students in the areas of tourism and hotel management. The Faculty is located in Vrnjacka Banja, a well know Serbian tourist spa destination with over 150-year-long tradition. The Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjacka Banja, as an educational, scientific and research institution, offers theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and training trough Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes. We have cooperation agreements with more than 70 stakeholders operating in tourism community. The international activities of the Faculty are focused on the establishing, fostering and developing cooperation and realising joint projects with other faculties and institutions, as well as with international organisations dealing with higher education.

The Faculty of Tourism and Business Logistics, Goce Delcev University - Stip, Macedonia was found in 2008 with a main location in Gevgelija and dispersed studies in Stip and Skopje. It is conceptualized upon curricula of the leading European universities for tourism, but also upon domestic vocational experience. The Faculty enrolls around 600 students each year in five departments: Tourism, Business logistics, Business administration, Gastronomy, nutrition and dietetic, and Hotel-restaurant management. It offers study programs in accordance with the Bologna declaration, for Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. studies. The Faculty is running many national and international research projects and cooperates with various national and international institutions and organizations.

Institute of Agricultural Economics was founded on 21st of April, 2005 and entered in the register of scientific and research institutions of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska on 22nd of Dec., 2005, and in 2013 it changed its name to the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development.

Federal State Budgetary Educational institution of higher education "Michurinsk State Agrarian University" is one of the oldest educational institutions of Tambov region and Russia, was founded in 1931. The University carries out successful research work in two priority research areas: "Development of Food Technologies of Functional and Therapeutic and Prophylactic Purposes" and "Sustainable Development of Rural Areas". The Faculty of Tourism - Montenegro Tourism School (MTS) was founded in 2004, as the first private institution of higher-education in Montenegro. From 2006. it is the part of Mediterranean University Podgorica. As educational, scientific and research institution, MTS offered Undergraduate, Master and PhD studies in the field of Management in Tourism and Management in Hospitality. During their studies students are provided with: mentor work, guest international and domestic lecturers, visits to hotels and other tourism companies, study travels to many places of tourist interests and in-house training in local and international companies. Furthermore, the faculty is licensed for specialized courses: as for Travel agent, Tourist guide, Sommelier etc.
Faculty is constantly demonstrating its social responsibility by implementing projects with partner organizations, whose activities are of wider public interest. Faculty established a good cooperation with industry sector what is very important for students to learn practical training. Center for Russian and Ukrainian Studies, Harbin Engineering University, China
Center for Russian and Ukrainian Studies (CRUS) was established in 2017 at Harbin Engineering University, China. The CRUS is engaged in research of various spheres of collaboration between China, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries of Europe, including economics, trade, investments, finances, regional economic development, rural development, food security issues, sustainable development studies, and exploration and development of biological and energy resources of the Arctic.
The CRUS collaborates with governmental and non-governmental national and international organizations, research institutions, universities, and companies. Specific areas of research include China-Russia and China-Nordic collaboration in the Arctic, including China’s participation in the development of the circumpolar regions of Russia and other Nordic countries, joint investment projects, navigation in the polar waters, and the establishment of the Arctic Blue Economic Corridor. The CRUS is now a registered Think Tank of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and the Ministry of Education of China.
